Before Previews Begin, Port Authority Extends Off-Broadway to 6/22

Before its first preview, the Atlantic Theater Company's off-Broadway production of Conor McPherson's Port Authority has announced a one-week extension, though June 22. The play begins performances at the company's Linda Gross Theater on April 30, directed by Henry Wishcamper.

Starring Brian d'Arcy James, John Gallagher Jr. and Jim Norton, Port Authority follows three generations of Irishmen in contemporary Dublin as they cope with loss, love, failure and their own realities. The show marks the return of Tony Award nominated playwright McPherson to the Atlantic, where his acclaimed Dublin Carol made its American premiere. McPherson's The Seafarer recently concluded a run at Broadway's Booth Theatre in a production that co-starred Norton.
